Aliaxis UK Announces Organisation Changes
Aliaxis, the group which includes some of the UK’s best-known building industry brands, has announced a reorganisation of its structure and senior management team in the UK which will take effect from 1st January 2010.
The changes will further enhance the group's competitiveness and enable Aliaxis to face the ever-present challenges of the market. Each company will continue to operate independently, and Aliaxis will continue to invest in building the group's individual brands.
The changes are as follows:
• Kevin Lawson, currently Managing Director GPS PE Pipe Systems will be appointed to the role of Aliaxis UK Operations and Finance Director.
• Brian Blanchard, currently Managing Director of Hunter Plastics will be appointed to the role of Aliaxis UK Building & Sanitary Director. He will be responsible for the commercial activities of Hunter Plastics & Multikwik, Marley Plumbing & Drainage, and Marley Alutec. Chris Nunn, currently Managing Director of Marley Plumbing & Drainage, will be retiring later in 2010.
• Martin Gisbourne, Managing Director Durapipe will be appointed to the role of Aliaxis UK Utilities and Industry Director. He will be responsible for the commercial activities of Durapipe, the business of GPS PE Pipe Systems and the Durapipe logistics operation at Cannock.
The UK activities of Aliaxis will be co-ordinated by a new UK Board, comprising Giorgio Valle as Chairman, Corrado Mazzacano as Vice-Chairman, Brian Blanchard, Martin Gisbourne, and Kevin Lawson.
