Hunter's New Fitting is the Future
Nottinghamshire trade fabricator, Future Products, is saving time on site and money on rainwater fittings by sending out Hunter Plastics' new Regency long stop end fittings out with every one of its conservatories.
The fitting, which makes it possible to fit a downpipe directly abutting the building wall without spoiling the whole look of the structure, makes installing rainwater on any conservatory fail-safe.
Founded 23 years ago, Future Products employs nearly two hundred people throughout the group manufacturing doors, door panels, windows, conservatories and many other glass products in its in-house toughening plant. The company sends out a Hunter Regency long stop end in its rainwater kit with each of its conservatories, increasing its versatility by using a gutter spigot to make the fitting a running outlet or stop end. This has saved the company the time, inconvenience and money of replacing incorrect fittings when installation problems arise on site.
"This fitting works a treat for us," comments Stuart Bower, Future Products' Technical Services Manager. "Putting a stop end on a running outlet can be a pain. If the measurements or the hand is wrong, the installation team can be hanging about on site for hours. With this Hunter long stop end, they can fit it wherever. It saves on a fitting but most importantly, it saves time and hassle on site," he concludes.
Hunter developed the 100mm long Stop End for the Regency system as part of its on going policy of launching products designed to make life easier and quicker for installers on site. Used in conjunction with Hunter's Unifit 'fit anywhere' rainwater outlet, the Regency Long Stop End gives installers the ultimate flexibility to install down pipes on any conservatory, regardless of its frame configuration. The Regency Long Stop End can be installed directly at clipping distance, eliminating the need for an offset, reducing costs and improving aesthetics even further.
