Deer Park Farm, Staffordshire

Highflo

A 170mm rainwater system. The Highflo system was installed to collect rainwater from large asymmetrical roofs from three buildings, at Deer Park Farm in Burton-on-Trent.

Due to the design and location of adjacent buildings, the installation had to limit the amount of downpipes which could be installed. The downpipes feed into three underground 12000 gallon rainwater storage tanks, for use in high pressure washing down. This all meant that the rainwater system had to be of a sufficiently large capacity to cope with the high flows expected.

Richard Mumford of Arthur Griffiths and Mumford comments "PVC-U rainwater systems are simply much easier to handle and install, especially high capacity products. At Deer Park Farm, the Hunter system certainly went up quickly and has coped well with some of the heavy storms we've had since the system was installed".
