Roof Outlets
When Norwich castle museum underwent a £11.5 million refurbishment funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Hunter Plastics roof drainage system were installed, combining flat roof outlets with internal drainage pipe protects the interior of one thousand year old Norwich Castle from potentially disastrous water ingress.
Rainwater is channelled from the large and complex castle roof via Hunter's flat roof outlets and is carried through Hunter drainage pipes down internal walls to ground level. Installed by specialist contractor Constructional Fixing Services, contracted to main contractor R G Carter.
The Hunter system was selected by Tony Waverill of Constructional Fixing Services, who says: "We always use Hunter Plastics systems. They have an excellent range which allows us to meet the most complex requirements with utmost efficiency".
