Stormflo
Stormflo was installed on a gymnasium developed for the army to serve Sir John Moore Barracks in the city.
Constructed by Ballast Wiltshier. The single storey brick building, measuring 20 metres wide and 36 metres long; so flow rates from the pitched, tiled roof are considerable! Tony Robinson, Ballast Wiltshier's Project Manager on the job believes that Hunter's Stormflo fitted the bill exactly. "We spoke to our usual supplier, and told them about the requirements for the project's rainwater system. We asked them to come up with a solution, and they immediately suggested that we use Hunter Stormflo," he comments. "The rainwater was fitted by our carpenters and it went up with no problems. Of course it's much lighter than metal or fibre-cement which were the only other alternatives."
