Stormflo
Steel frame manufacturer and contractors Gadson Engineering regularly have to fit high capacity rainwater systems on the large buildings they design and build. One large project where only stormflo would do was for a 15m wide, 36 metre long straw store and Cattle shed a Wilstone Great Farm near Tring in Hertfordshire Stormflo was used because it has a deep profile and 200mm width to accommodate enormous volumes of rainwater.
"The client was very happy for us to use Stormflo on this project," continues Gadson. "We had already used it on another of his building's when its existing asbestos gutter needed replacing and he was very impressed with it. Whenever I need to put up rainwater systems now, I always opt for a Hunter high capacity system... I have to say that I wouldn't use anything else now. I much prefer it to metal systems for a number of reasons. Firstly it's a lot lighter and easier to put up, which always goes down well on site. And secondly, it tends to arrive on site in good condition."
